How to perform this exercise:
Take a small object in your hands, a pen or a remote control would be ideal.
Concentrate on the object for 5 seconds.
Now shift your concentration to an object located farther from you, like a picture on a wall.
Continue concentrating for 5 seconds and then look on the closer to you object.
Repeat this exercise several times and while you do that try to identify some new details that you did not notice before.
As you progress you will be able to identify more details.
